1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Bamboo Student Organization Accreditation and Renewal System (Bamboo SOARS) platform, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use this service. These terms apply to all users, including students, faculty advisers, and administrators of Isabela State University (ISU) - Cauayan Campus.

2. User Accounts and Credentials

2.1 Account Registration

Users must register with accurate and complete information. Students are required to provide their valid student ID, email address, and other requested information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

2.2 Account Security

You agree to:

• Keep your password secure and not share it with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Log out of your account after each session, especially on shared devices
• Accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

3. Use of the Platform

3.1 Permitted Uses

You may use Bamboo SOARS only for its intended purposes:

• Submitting organization recognition requests and applications
• Tracking the status of your applications
• Submitting activity permits and compliance documents
• Viewing organization information and announcements
• Managing your student profile

3.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the system or other users' accounts
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Violate any applicable laws or university policies
• Attempt to bypass security measures or access restricted areas
• Use automated tools or bots to access the platform without authorization

4. Application Requirements

4.1 Accuracy of Information

All information submitted through Bamboo SOARS must be accurate, complete, and truthful. False, misleading, or fraudulent information may result in:

• Rejection of your application
• Suspension or termination of your account
• Disciplinary action by the university
• Legal consequences as applicable

4.2 Document Requirements

All required documents must be submitted in PDF format with a maximum file size of 5MB. Documents must be clear, readable, and authentic. Falsified or forged documents will result in disciplinary action.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, design, and functionality of the Bamboo SOARS platform are the intellectual property of Isabela State University. You retain ownership of any original content you submit, but grant the university a non-exclusive license to use such content for administrative and organizational purposes.

6. Limitations of Liability

Bamboo SOARS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The university is not liable for:

• Loss or corruption of data
• Interruptions or delays in service
• Technical errors or bugs
• Unauthorized access due to user negligence
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

7. Conduct and Compliance

7.1 Student Code of Conduct

All users must comply with Isabela State University's Code of Student Conduct and all applicable university policies. Violations may result in account suspension, dismissal from the platform, or other disciplinary measures.

7.2 Organization Standards

Organization recognition is contingent upon maintaining compliance with all university policies, including:

• Regular submission of required documents
• Adherence to organizational standards
• Compliance with anti-discrimination and harassment policies
• Participation in mandated training and activities

8. Communication and Notifications

By using Bamboo SOARS, you consent to receive communications from the university, including:

• Application status updates and notifications
• System maintenance announcements
• Important policy updates
• Required compliance reminders

You are responsible for maintaining an active and monitored email address.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

All personal information collected through Bamboo SOARS is handled in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173) and the university's Data Privacy Policy. Your information will be used only for administrative, organizational, and academic purposes and will not be shared with unauthorized third parties.

10. Termination of Access

The university reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to Bamboo SOARS at any time, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms and Conditions
• Violation of university policies
• Engagement in illegal activities
• Graduation or withdrawal from the university
• System maintenance or operational reasons

11. Modifications to Terms

The university reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Grievance Procedure

If you have concerns or disputes regarding the platform or application outcomes, you may:

1. Contact the Office of Student Affairs
2. Submit a formal written complaint with supporting documentation
3. Request a review by the appropriate university committee

12.2 Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Philippine law, and all disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in the Philippines.

14. Entire Agreement
